DT SWISS rear wheel 27.5 "XMC 1200 spline 30 mm | 12x148 mm BOOST thru axle
The XMC 1200 are the all-rounders among the DT Swiss wheels. With a weight of less than 1500 grams it accelerates like a highend cross country wheelset. With a rim inside width of 30 millimeters and hookless carbon rims, it offers best-in-class support for large-volume tires and is robust enough for AllMountain use. The impeller is supplied with extensive accessories (see scope of delivery).
Spline hub
The elaborately milled hub shell, athletic hub shell reduces the weight of the spline hub. With the modular design, the spline hub can be converted to all common axle type standards without tools. Likewise, most maintenance and the insertion of another freewheel body without special tools are possible. The new Ratchet EXP toothed disc freewheel not only ensures the typical DT Swiss hub sound, but also provides a very direct traction every 10 degrees over 36 teeth. Moreover, the force is transmitted very evenly to the impeller, which makes this type of freewheel almost indestructible. The revised inside of the hub has increased the distance between the bearings in the hub body, which has increased the hub stiffness by 15%.
Tubeless-ready rim
The full carbon rim of the XMC 1200 is equipped with a tubeless compatible profile. Thus, only Tubelesstape glued in and the supplied tubeless valve are used and the impeller is ready for tubeless use. The hookless rim flange increases the stability of the rim, making it less sensitive to punctures.
Straightpull spokes
The spline wheels are built exclusively with straightpull spokes. This ensures a very high stiffness in the impeller and by eliminating the delicate spoke arch for a very high durability. Flattened DT Aero-Comp spokes reduce overall weight and give the XRC 1200 a more aggressive look.
