Behind the Cyclite brand are Christoph Kirsch and Max Barnsteiner, two bike enthusiasts from Chiemsee, who together have more than 45 years of experience and expertise in marketing and design in the outdoor industry. As the two of them were unable to find the perfect bags for their bikepacking tours to meet their high demands, they decided to take action themselves and revolutionize the bikepacking market with completely new ideas. The result is the lightest bikepacking bag set on the market. However, Cyclite bags are not only extremely light, but also aerodynamically favorable and practical to use. Thanks to their know-how in the development of lightweight construction and long-standing contacts with production partners for lightweight functional materials, Cyclite bags are, despite their low weight, extremely hard-wearing, waterproof and have the highest quality workmanship. The Frame Bag XT 02 is the extended version of the popular Cyclite frame bag. With 8 centimeters more length, it offers you 0.4 liters more storage space. Its minimalistic weight of just 173 grams and its placement in the center of the frame has almost no influence on the riding dynamics of your bike. Inside there is a flat compartment on the left and the main compartment on the right, both of which are protected from the elements by waterproof zippers. The extremely hard-wearing nylon fabric specially developed for Cyclite, which is waterproof thanks to high-frequency welding and has a coating on both sides for easy cleaning, is responsible for the low weight. A covered cable/hose opening allows you to use power banks or hydration bladders while riding. Four power fixation straps ensure the best hold. Reflector patterns integrated into the bag design make you visible even at night. For racing use, the reinforcement frame can be removed and the weight of the bag reduced by a further 60 grams.
Note: The Frame Bag XT 02 requires a certain amount of free space below the top tube, which is not available on some mountain bikes due to the shock suspension.
