The many knobs are slightly higher than in the Speed variant and, together with the BlackChili compound, ensure excellent grip on almost any surface. In addition, they were pulled up far on the side flanks to generate better grip in curves. They are arranged in such a way that the rolling resistance is low and you can make quick progress at any time without completely exhausting yourself.

Pure Grip Compound
Based on the activated silica compound, we worked purposefully towards a compound technology in the performance segment. After intensive development work, the team from the Korbach research and development department brought out a new compound technology with excellent grip and cross-country skiing properties. The new rubber compound with the self-explanatory name "Pure Grip" ranks behind our BlackChili compound and is used in performance products in the race and mountain bike segments. Here it ensures long-lasting traction and high mileage of Continental tires, which are exclusively manufactured in the production plant in Hefei (Asia).

Shield Wall system
The ShieldWall system combines high puncture protection with smooth running and low weight. These properties are achieved by an additional, all-round puncture protection layer. This gives the tire high resistance to punctures and other damage. Despite the additional puncture protection layer, the tire has very good damping properties and flexibility to adapt to the ground.

TR Tubeless Ready
An additional, all-round puncture protection layer of the carcass (ShieldWall System) specially developed by Conti makes the tire particularly resistant and insensitive to damage and the ingress of foreign bodies. The result: The tires can be used in a variety of ways, are lightweight and have an attractive design. In addition, tires with this technology can also be used tubeless ready.

E-bike ready
For their e-bike tires, Continental can draw on over 100 years of experience with moped and motorcycle tires. All Continental city/trekking tires reach at least the standard up to 25 km/h (E-25). The tires marked with E-50 are also approved for S-Pedelecs. With their high-quality construction, they have high puncture protection, low rolling resistance and protection against premature wear due to the additional driving force.
