BlackChili Compound
At Conti, BlackChili means above all that grip, rolling resistance and durability are combined at a level that almost makes you believe in magic. Continental simply uses the very latest and best technologies. The latest polymers, carbon black particles optimized down to the nano range and fillers guarantee the unique performance of the BlackChili compound. It revolutionized the basic conflict between grip and rolling resistance. Approximately 30% more grip and a 26% improvement in rolling resistance compared to the silica compound ensure better performance and safety. Continental tires consist entirely of this high-quality rubber compound. This means that the tires can be worn down to the carcass without losing the first-class properties of the rubber!

PolyX Breaker
The tire is reinforced with an extremely resistant and close-meshed, cross-woven polyester fiber. This results in a very high fabric density. This makes the breaker not only resistant to foreign bodies, but also particularly resistant to punctures.

NOTE: The tire is not suitable for tubeless use and not for use on hookless rims.
