Maximum braking performance, consistent lightweight construction and a high-quality combination of materials characterize the Carbon-Ti X-Rotor SteelCarbon 3 as a performance-oriented brake disc for demanding applications. Developed for the highest loads in road and off-road use, it meets high demands in terms of deceleration, stability and control.
The design focuses on the combination of a lightweight carbon spider and a high-strength stainless steel friction surface. This combination significantly reduces the weight without compromising on braking performance. At the same time, the proven steel friction surface ensures consistently high performance even under intensive conditions and on long descents. Despite consistent weight optimization, there is sufficient surface area available to ensure powerful and easily controllable deceleration. A well thought-out hole design supports heat management and contributes to stable braking performance. The friction surface and spider are not rigidly connected to each other via titanium rivets, but with a defined amount of play. This floating bearing enables stress-free expansion of the friction surface under thermal load and effectively reduces distortion. Rounded edges not only meet the current safety requirements of the International Cycling Union, but also facilitate threading into the brake caliper during quick wheel changes.
A Center-Lock rotor with AFS lockring is supplied, specially designed for Campagnolo and Fulcrum wheels. Thanks to the modular design, the disc can also be used as a 6-hole version. To do this, the adapter is removed and it is fitted to your wheel in the classic way using six bolts. A quick and uncomplicated wheel change is therefore always an option.
