Since then, Record has stood for racing DNA, technical precision, and reliable performance. With the Record 13 platform, Campagnolo brings this tradition into the present and expands it to new areas of use. Designed for athletic riders with high expectations, the Record 13 combines electronic shifting logic, a wide range of gear ratios, and robust materials to create a modern drivetrain with an iconic design and precise function.
A rear derailleur that shifts cleanly even when the road ends: Developed specifically for sporty gravel riding, the Record X rear derailleur brings the electronic 13-speed platform to loose terrain. Its compact architecture optimally aligns the system with the cassette and supports fast, direct, and quiet shifting across the entire gear range. This ensures controlled shifting performance even when speed and terrain are constantly changing.
At the heart of this gravel-friendly design is Nano-Clutch technology. The integrated clutch reliably keeps the chain taut on rough terrain and reduces chain bounce and derailments on challenging surfaces. Designed for cassettes up to 48 teeth, the extended derailleur cage features shift pulleys of varying sizes: at the top, an eccentric 12-tooth pulley ensures optimal spacing from the cassette, while at the bottom, a large 16-tooth pulley improves chain guidance and smooth operation. A built-in position sensor automatically aligns the rear derailleur with the selected sprocket, while the manual UnLock system allows for mechanical repositioning in an emergency. This way, you won’t be completely stranded but can, ideally, keep rolling in a drivable gear. The removable battery provides power for up to 750 kilometers and can be fully charged in about 60 minutes. The charge level can be checked at any time via the MyCampy 3.0 app.
