A technical masterpiece with an unmistakable design: The crankset of the Record 13 X groupset is a real head-turner. This is thanks to the successful combination of a matte aluminum aero chainring and carbon crankarms featuring special Record X branding. The deliberately visible carbon structure underscores the technical character of this Italian crankset. Six chainring sizes ranging from 38 to 48 teeth, combined with the 10-48 cassette, provide you with exactly the gear range you need for your personal gravel adventure. Building on the experience gained with the Campagnolo Ekar, the tooth profile has been redesigned to optimize chain engagement, smooth out drivetrain operation, and prevent chain skips even on bumpy trails. A new surface treatment also noticeably increases the wear resistance of the Mono chainrings.
For the crankset system, Campagnolo remains true to its Ultra-Torque technology: two steel half-shafts, firmly connected to the crankarms, mesh via Hirth splines and are securely fastened by a central oversized bolt. With a chainline of 47.5 mm and a Q-factor of 152 mm, the crankset is suited to the geometries of modern gravel bikes. The QCK-Tech bottom bracket ensures smooth operation with low-friction Campagnolo bearings and a dual-seal system that reliably protects against mud and dust. The wide range of QCK-Tech cups and bottom brackets ensures compatibility with common bottom bracket standards.
