B-goods - what is it?
We use the term B-goods (second choice) to describe products that can no longer be sold as new. Usually, the products come from customer returns and therefore, are offered at a reduced price. Each B-Stock article is thoroughly checked for functionality and completeness. Buying a B-Stock item is not a risk. The statutory liability for material defects remains as well as the right of withdrawal.

BOSCH Range Extender PowerMore 250 | 250 Wh battery | Semi-integrated
With the PowerMore 250, trekking and eMountain bikes can easily cover long distances. Thanks to its compact water bottle size, the Range Extender fits perfectly into the design of the e-bike, as it is mounted in the same place as the bottle cage. For rides where you want to leave the battery at home, you can slide the supplied bottle cage into the holding system for the battery.
The Range Extender is part of the system generation "The smart System", Bosch's own system basis, so you need to pay attention to compatibility. You can use the Bosch eBike Flow app and your e-bike display to find out whether the battery is compatible with your bike.
Charging times and service life
A charging cycle refers to the complete charging of a battery with a single charge or several partial charges. The duration depends on the battery capacity and the charger. The 2A Charger charges the PowerMore 250 to 50 percent in approx. 1.6 hours, the full charge takes 2.9 hours. The 4A Charger charges even faster, reaching approx. 50 percent after just 1.1 hours and the battery is fully charged after around 2.9 hours. The service life of Bosch batteries is primarily influenced by the type and duration of use. Like every lithium-ion battery, a Bosch battery ages naturally, even if it is not used.
Factors that have a positive effect on the service life:
- Low stress
- Storage at a temperature between 0 and 20 °C
- Storage at a charge level of approx. 30-60%
- Parking the E-Bike in the shade or in cool rooms
Factors that shorten the service life:
- Heavy use
- Storage at an ambient temperature of over 30 °C
- Prolonged storage when fully charged or completely empty
- Parking the e-bike in the blazing sun

The brochure informs you about the basics of battery technology. This also includes the correct charging, storage and care of the battery.
Not only will you be safe on the road, but you will also ensure the battery's capacity over a long period of time and be able to assess more accurately what you can expect from a battery.
