Breach C - innovative engineering from Germany
These pedals were developed in Oberammergau and all of their features are based on the popular Haxn Hoita. Development at Ambit always takes place in close cooperation with the team riders and also incorporates feedback from end customers.
The Breach C pedals are made of composite, which makes them lighter and somewhat more comfortable, as shocks and vibrations are absorbedmore softlythanks to the more flexible material. Thelarge contact area of 111 mm x 99 mm, together with 10 steel pins per footprint, offers optimum grip and the striking look gives the pedal a certain recognition value. But the real highlight is inside the pedal - the rotation brake. This allows the rotation of the pedal body to be continuously adjusted. A feature that has received very little attention to date. However, the rotation speed plays a very important role, especially in slopestyle or freeride, as everyone wants to place their feet safely back on the pedals after a trick. By setting the rotation brake, the pedal body cannot continue to rotate during jumps in the air.
Another feature of the pedal is the slanted standing surface, which ensures the best possible application of force without fatigue and ensures an ergonomic riding experience. This noticeably increases endurance and riding comfort thanks to the optimized hip, knee and foot alignment.
It goes without saying that the engineers at Ambit Components have put a lot of thought into servicing the pedal. Thanks to the patented "Service Screw" system, maintenance is quick and easy. Only three screws need to be opened to dismantle the pedal and service the axles. Servicing has never been so easy.
