When you already have a workshop with the most modern 5-axis milling machines at your disposal, the production of high-quality bike parts is almost obvious.
So here it is, the little brother of 5Dev's high-end titanium crank. The material used is high-strength 7050 aluminum. Once the crank had been designed to withstand the load, precision production began on the company's own machines in San Diego, California.
After a veritable "milling orgy", the result is a product that is unparalleled in terms of appearance and quality.
Thanks to the high-strength properties of the material, a filigree shape can be realized without having to compromise on durability. The SRAM 3-hole mount on the crank allows you to use a wide range of direct-mount chainrings or spiders available on the market. If you ever want to remove the crank, this can be done in just a few minutes using the integrated pullers.
An aluminum preload ring enables precise adjustment of the bearing play and also blends harmoniously into the overall appearance. The optional 28.99 mm (SRAM DUB standard) or 30 mm shaft leaves nothing to be desired in terms of compatibility with various frames and bottom bracket standards.
