RockShox is an US-American company, which was founded by Paul Turner and Steve
Simons in 1989 and nowadays belongs to SRAM. It?s probably the most popular
producer of suspension fork and rear shocks in the world. Turner and Simons,
who have their roots in moto crossing, let their experiences and have an
influence to the design of the first RockShox suspension fork RS-1, which was a
revolution back in 1990. Air and oil suspension catapulted mountain biking into
new dimensions. RockShox still is a technology leader with bike parts like
suspension forks
and suspensions.
