SCOTT frameset Gravel Scale RC HMF | 2026
The Scott Scale frames have long had a firm place in the World Cup circuit, and the Gravel version of the Scale is also the ultimate racing machine. With it, you can really pick up the pace on loose gravel tracks and have full control at all times in difficult passages. It is also very light and has a high-quality finish.
The HMF carbon fibers are the main contributor to the low weight and yet high rigidity. They are slightly heavier than the high-end HMX fibers, but offer the same stiffness and strength. Furthermore, the processing costs are lower and the finished product can therefore be offered at a lower price.
The frame is designed for somewhat tougher gravel adventures and can accommodate tires up to 2.5 inches wide.
The comfort aspect was not neglected during development. The SDS2 (Shock Damping System) has been further developed. This is not limited to individual parts of the frame, but considers it as a whole. The arrangement of the carbon fibers was chosen so that the stiffness is not negatively affected when pedaling and flex is created where it directly benefits the rider's performance.
The rigid fork ensures a particularly direct ride feel. It is extremely torsionally stiff, steers very precisely and ensures unrestricted propulsion, especially on climbs. It also offers the advantage of being maintenance-free.
Another interesting feature is the adjustable headset from Acros. In addition to the well-known high functionality, the steering angle can be changed by +/- 0.6°. This allows you to adapt the entire frame geometry to your individual preferences or area of use.
With the acceptance of 1x drivetrains, the seat tube has also been completely redesigned. A front derailleur is no longer required and the shape has been optimized for stiffness and comfort. It has a small mount for the Scott chain guide above the bottom bracket.
A clean and graceful look is achieved by the ICCR cable routing, in which all cables and lines run through the frame. The redesigned routing directly through the head tube avoids additional openings on the down tube and provides even better protection against water and dirt. Inside, the cables are neatly routed through inserts and can therefore be easily installed. The small service opening in the front part of the bottom bracket area also serves to simplify routing or maintenance work. After removing a plastic plate, work can be carried out inside the frame without having to remove the bottom bracket.
