The Darimo IX2AL is the perfect stem for everyone who loves aluminum stems and still wants to do without every unnecessary gram on the bike. With just 72g and a length of 80mm, this stem is a real flyweight. Anyone who wants to build an ultra-light bike should consider this stem.

But how do the Spaniards manage to produce such a flyweight? The clever minds from Valencia have worked a lot and save material wherever they can. But of course they also pay attention to safety and rigidity. For the latter, the shape plays an important role. The stem features an integrated faceplate with just two screws. With this design, the stiffness in the clamping area is increased on the one hand and the surface pressure on the handlebars is reduced on the other. The large contact area (24 square centimetres) makes it stiffer than heavier stems. After all, this stem impresses with an impressive design language and becomes a real highlight on your bike.

NOTE: The Darimo stem is a high-end product and requires careful work when installing it. All torques and driver weights specified by the manufacturer must be strictly adhered to. This increases the service life of the stem and is for your safety. When using it on a racing bike or gravel bike, it should be noted that the diameter of the upper link must not exceed 31.8 mm due to the non-removable front cap. Otherwise there is a risk of damage to the handlebars and stem. Aerobars are therefore excluded.
