WOLF TOOTH Adapter RoadLink DM Aluminum

A small adapter with a big effect. With the WOLF TOOTH Roadlink DM, it is possible to use a wide-range cassette with a wider gear range with Shimano road bike rear derailleurs. The Roadlink is simply mounted between the derailleur hanger and the rear derailleur and thus moves the rear derailleur into the required position. This prevents the upper derailleur pulley on the largest sprocket from being too close to the cassette. The Roadlink is particularly interesting for converting cyclocross or road bikes to a 1-speed drivetrain. The missing 2nd chainring can be compensated for with a wider gear ratio on the cassette. However, the Roadlink can also be useful on 2-speed drivetrains for tackling extreme climbs in order to have a lifebuoy on the bike with an 11-36, 11-40 or 11-42 11-speed cassette. You can also use a 10-42 SRAM XD cassette, but with slightly poorer shifting quality!

NOTE: For 2-speed drivetrains, at least a medium-length rear derailleur cage must be installed and the maximum capacity of the rear derailleur must also be taken into account!!! The total capacity of the rear derailleur is NOT changed by the Roadlink DM!
