With the wheels of the 9200 Dura Ace generation, the Japanese have also succeeded in further improving the optimum combination of stiffness, aerodynamics and low weight. The individual components have been closely scrutinized and significantly optimized at critical points. This means you always have the best and fastest material on your bike.

The rims are made entirely of carbon, and it's not just the look on the scales that will make your heart beat faster - you can immediately convert your energy into propulsion when pedaling fast. Nothing is wasted. The new design reduces air resistance and thus enables higher speeds with less effort.

The slim hubs feature Shimano's own DIRECT ENGAGEMENT system, which significantly reduces idle travel and allows a very direct drive. The high bearing quality and perfect sealing ensure smooth running and a long service life. They are also adjustable and easy to maintain if necessary.
The new freehub body is made of aluminum and therefore also weighs considerably less without compromising stability or durability. However, it may only be fitted with the 12-speed Shimano Road cassettes.

Due to the low height of the rim, this rear wheel feels particularly at home on mountainous stages or in strong winds.
