MAGPED Gravel steel pedals
The magped gravel pedal is the first real alternative for gravel bikes. Thanks to the use of a patented magnetic mechanism, the foot can be safely, quickly and easily detached from the pedal at any time. The risk of falling and injury is reduced to an absolute minimum compared to pedals with fixed connections (e.g. clipless pedal system) - and the head remains free for enjoyable biking without fear.
Round pedal stroke
The magped pedal enables a well-rounded pedal stroke, as both the extensor (70%) and flexor (30%) muscles of the leg muscles are used evenly. This makes even longer bike tours a pure pleasure without cramps.
Position
This system allows a slight rotation of the shoe and thus protects the joints when pedaling. The freedom of movement can be adjusted using two small screws on the front pedal.
Traction force
Depending on the magnet strength selected, the shoe is held magnetically to the pedal with up to 20 kg of pulling force. Nevertheless, quick and easy release in critical situations directly upwards is no problem.
Shoe plate
The cleat is made of special rust-treated steel and can be fitted to any 2-hole gravel or race MTB shoe in just a few minutes. Unlike other systems, dirt is no problem for the magped.
