The KMC 12-speed X-series chain impresses with precise shifting performance and full compatibility with all 12-speed shifting systems in the Shimano standard, including Shimano, Campagnolo and TRP, while SRAM systems with flattop chains are not supported. Precisely chamfered plates of the proven X-Bridge technology ensure perfect shifting and smooth propulsion in all riding situations. The chain is already equipped with a MissingLink chain lock for easy installation and maintenance. Golden titanium-nitride coating significantly increases durability, reduces friction for a smooth shifting feel and reliably protects against corrosion. Specially adapted to the characteristics of 12-speed shifting systems, the KMC X series enjoys the trust of numerous top athletes in professional cycling.
L stands for lightweight. When every gram counts in competition, the smallest details matter. The use of hollow rivets saves material without significantly impairing stability in use. The result is a lighter chain with efficient power transmission that is particularly suitable for performance-oriented riders and sporty applications.
KMC GO WAX
KMC's first chain wax was developed to reduce friction and improve shifting. At the same time, the wax forms the basis for a chain range that is intended to be free of mineral oil-based lubricants in the long term. KMC Go Wax forms a water-repellent microfilm on the chain, which permanently prevents heavy dirt adhesion and minimizes the associated accelerated wear. In addition, KMC Go Wax is biodegradable and contains neither toxic chemicals nor harsh solvents.
Note: According to KMC, the Missing Link 12-speed chain locks are only approved for single use.
