Garbaruk is a company from Ukraine, which has its roots in motorsport.
The design and manufacture of engine and suspension tuning parts were a staple of Garbaruk. 7075-T6 aluminum from Germany is the raw material from which the Garbaruk chainrings are CNC-machined. The chainrings have some features that are different from competitors.
In order to hold the chain securely in position even without a chain guide, the teeth have a special profile of narrow and wide teeth in alternation. To ensure that this is even under very rough and rough conditions, the teeth of Garbaruk chainrings are made about 40% longer than conventional teeth. Furthermore, the teeth are shaped so that even in muddy conditions, the chainring works very well. Dirt and mud are effectively removed when overflowing the chain.
We recommend using a derailleur with increased cage tension (SRAM Type 2-3, Shimano Shadow +), which reliably holds the chain in place and prevents it from jumping off.
Direct mount assembly
The chainring is mounted directly on the crank arm and replaces the possible previous spider.
The result is a tidy look that saves weight while providing excellent stiffness.
The Boost standard allows the use of wider tires in appropriately designed frames and forks. Give the widened hubs the wheels also higher stiffness values, which particularly comes into play at 27.5 "and 29 inch wheels. VCLT (Variable ChainLine Technology)
Garbaruk works on all direct mount chainrings with a changing chain line , which depends on the number of teeth. For other manufacturers, a fixed chain line common, but must be chosen so that even larger chainrings do not touch the chainstay.
The smaller the Garbaruk chainring, the closer it is possible to place it on the chainstay.
The chain line is thus even more optimal, since the chainring is aligned almost centered to the cassette.
