With the HALO™ series, Finish Line has almost reached the Olympus of lubricants. In any case, they are setting new standards and sustainably extending the service life of the drivetrain.

When developing the HALO™ Hot Wax, particular attention was paid to minimizing friction and anti-stick properties. New innovative technologies, paired with exclusive ingredients, ensure the perfect result. The highly refined kerosene wax forms a dry and water-repellent layer that increases the chain's gliding properties and guarantees a low noise level. The tungsten it contains creates a rolling effect due to its spherical shape, which ensures smoother running, especially at high torques, such as on steep climbs or when sprinting. Ceramic boron nitride plates create a protective non-stick layer that allows protective particles and water to simply roll off. This ensures optimum all-round protection and significantly extends maintenance intervals.

Application is also simple and, with a little skill, clean. Remove the chain from the bike beforehand and clean very thoroughly. HALO Hot Wax is a granulate that must be liquefied before use. To do this, open the bag and place it in a pot of water. Bring this to a gentle boil on the stove. Once the wax pellets have all melted, thread the chain onto the tool provided and immerse it in the liquid for at least 3 minutes. Then hang it up until it is completely dry (approx. 30 minutes). Please note, it is normal for some wax to drip off. Now the chain can be reassembled and you will immediately be delighted with the new performance.

But it's not just your bike that benefits from the HALO™ series. Environmental aspects were also taken into account during the development process: the products are fluorine-free and contain no hazardous volatile organic compounds (VOCs). And if something does spill, there's no need to panic: the lubricants are rapidly biodegradable in the soil.

Important notes
Do NOT heat the Hot Wax in the oven or microwave. Always wear protective gloves and goggles when handling. Old wax can be easily removed with boiling water.
