E*THIRTEEN Crank Helix R | black

A crank for tough enduro use, but with a weight that rivals XC cranks.
This new development from e*thirteen not only impresses with its simple CNC design, but also has a lot to offer technically. The crank arms are made from forged 6066-T6 aluminium and are then optimized using CNC machines. High rigidity and strength are achieved through forging. CNC machining removes the last gram that is not needed to withstand even the highest loads. The 30mm crankshaft made of 7075-T7 aluminum also ensures a rigid connection between the two crank arms. With the tool-free APS system for adjusting the bearing play and the P9 interface, crank assembly and disassembly is quick and easy.
The crank can be used for Boost and Super-Boost frames. This is achieved by the orientation of the chainring. The tool required to attach the chainring is included in the scope of delivery and can be used with a normal Hollowtech II tool or a 36 mm open-end wrench or corresponding pliers.
The range is rounded off by the plastic crank shoes, which further improve the durability of the robust aluminum crank.

APS Adjuster
Adaptive Preload System refers to the tool-free adjustment system for the e*thirteen cranks, with which the lateral bearing play can be adjusted. This system simplifies crank assembly enormously and makes assembly errors virtually impossible.

P3 Connect
The P3 Connect system was developed on the basis of the P3 Polygon Standard from 1937. The contact surface between the 30 mm oversized axle and the crank arm ensures an extremely rigid connection.
