With the GR 1600 series, the Swiss provide the bike world with robust gravel wheels with lightweight aluminum rims at a fair price. Thanks to the inner rim width of an enormous 24 mm, they also offer sufficient stability and good shaping for wider tires at low air pressures, thus generating better grip and increased comfort.
The workmanship is of the highest standard. The rim ends are welded and ground together, which guarantees almost unlimited durability and ensures a uniform appearance. In addition, the shot-peened surface largely repels stone chips, so that they appear as good as new even after many rides. The weight approval of up to 130 kg also speaks for their robustness.

DT Swiss is breaking new ground and bringing light to the bike. Based on the proven 350 hub, its first hub dynamo was developed in cooperation with Shutter Precision. And it immediately sets new standards. With a modern spline design on the outside, it goes without saying that the technical values are also fully convincing. It rotates completely unobtrusively and generates the necessary voltage for light generation even at low speeds. It is of course fully StVZO approved.
The workmanship is also at the high level of a 350 hub. The smooth-running, well-sealed industrial ball bearings are very durable and completely maintenance-free. In addition, the high rigidity of the hub ensures direct and precise steering behavior.

DT Swiss Aero Comp Wide Straightpull spokes with ProLock nipples
Thanks to their special manufacturing process, the aerodynamic Aero Comp Wide bladed spokes are extremely robust and stiff, but can still absorb shocks very well. This makes them ideal for off-road use.
In the Pro Lock process, a patented two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple thread and enables the construction of extremely durable wheels. As soon as the nipples are screwed in, the adhesive is activated and hardens completely after approx. 6 - 7 hours at room temperature. Multiple re-centering is still possible without any problems, although the adhesive strength decreases slightly with each re-centering.
