With the brake disk tester from CYCLUS TOOLS, bike owners and mechanics can quickly and easily determine when it is time to change the brake disk. This is important to avoid unexpected brake problems and ensures that the bike brakes safely and reliably at all times. Regular checks with this testing device ensure that the brake disc is in perfect condition and that its service life is maximized. Each brake disk has a wear limit specified by the manufacturer (MIN TH = Minimum Thickness). This value must not be undercut, as otherwise the braking performance is impaired and the driver's safety is jeopardized. Most brake discs are labeled by the manufacturer with the wear limit. Example: Shimano Min TH = 1.5
