The Riot TR+ 26 delivers pro performance for every athlete with maximum efficiency and stability. The triathlon-specific Velcro fastener enables lightning-fast changes. Thanks to the "Slide and Ride" construction in combination with an anatomically correct shape, this model sets new standards in terms of performance and fit. The moldable carbon chassis is the highlight of every Bont shoe. Thanks to the resin mixture perfected over 40 years, the carbon is already adaptable at low temperatures and can easily be individually shaped at home without special equipment. With a carbon composite base and a lowered forefoot shape, the shoe offers outstanding support while adapting to a wider range of foot shapes. The ultra-lightweight microfiber upper provides optimal support and integrated ventilation for high breathability and comfort in all conditions. For a precise and secure fit, two independent Velcro fasteners and a heel loop are used to adjust the shoe quickly, effortlessly and optimally. Inside, a comfortable honeycomb lining with light padding and low-stretch mesh ensures a pleasantly cool climate, even on long rides. With a sole thickness of just 4.6 mm, the shoe sets new standards and brings you closer to the pedal for a smoother pedal stroke, maximum control and more stability under any load. Replaceable heel protectors and durable carbon steel cleat hardware ensure that the shoe remains reliable even under hard use. The Riot TR+ comes with a Bont Cycling by Cobra9 dual-density EVA insole.
HEAT-MOLDING HEAT-MOLDING
Bont Cycling shoes should fit well right from the start. Heat-molding is only intended for small fine adjustments. Preheat the oven to 70 °C and remove cleats, mounting screws and insoles before heat-molding. The BOA Fit System can remain on the shoe. Place the shoe in the oven for 20 minutes. Do not exceed the temperature under any circumstances, otherwise there is a risk of damage and loss of warranty. Allow the shoe to cool briefly, check the temperature by hand and then replace the insole. Put the shoe on and allow it to cool down completely. Adjustments are limited to about 1-2 mm, as carbon fiber and upper material are not stretchable. After shaping, the shoe may have corresponding depressions and dents. These are the result of the specific adjustment and correspond to your individual footprint. The molding process can be repeated as often as required with consistent quality.
