If you want to take your performance in time trials and triathlons to a new level, the Bont Zero+ is the perfect choice. As the fastest shoe in the Bont Cycling range, it has been uncompromisingly developed for maximum performance. Thanks to its unique aerodynamic cover, no watts are wasted so that your power is converted directly and efficiently into speed. The moldable carbon monocoque chassis is the highlight of every Bont shoe. Thanks to the resin mixture, which has been perfected over 40 years, the carbon is already adaptable at low temperatures and can easily be individually shaped at home without special equipment. With its unidirectional carbon fiber base and lowered carbon forefoot shape, the shoe offers outstanding support while adapting to a wider range of foot shapes. The upper material made of high-quality Durolite impresses with its durability and is reinforced by an integrated, stretch-resistant fabric. Inside, a pleasantly soft synthetic suede lining with light padding ensures a comfortable fit. Front air inlets and a perforated forefoot area ensure optimum breathability and a balanced foot climate in all weather conditions. For a precise and secure fit, the BOA IP1 Performance Fit System with a twist lock is used, allowing you to adjust the shoe quickly, effortlessly and finely. With a sole thickness of just 3.6 mm, the shoe sets new standards and brings you closer to the pedal for a smoother pedal stroke, maximum control and more stability under any load. Replaceable heel protectors and durable stainless steel Cleat hardware ensure that the shoe remains reliable even under tough conditions. The Zero+ comes with a Bont Cycling EVA insole.
HEAT-MOLDING HEAT-MOLDING
Bont Cycling shoes should fit well right from the start. Heat-molding is only intended for small fine adjustments. Preheat the oven to 70 °C and remove cleats, mounting screws and insoles before heat-molding. The BOA Fit System can remain on the shoe. Place the shoe in the oven for 20 minutes. Do not exceed the temperature under any circumstances, otherwise there is a risk of damage and loss of warranty. Allow the shoe to cool briefly, check the temperature by hand and then replace the insole. Put the shoe on and allow it to cool down completely. Adjustments are limited to about 1-2 mm, as carbon fiber and upper material are not stretchable. After reshaping, the shoe may have corresponding depressions and dents. These are the result of the specific adjustment and correspond to your individual footprint. The molding process can be repeated as often as required with consistent quality.
