The medium rise gives you a more upright riding position, a better overview and better control in any riding situation. It also definitely lightens your bike. But that wasn't BJORN's only goal. Their focus was also on lasting durability. And this is also where they differ from many of their competitors. They release the handlebars without weight restrictions, but why do the Slovenians have so much confidence in their Palka? During the production process, the individual carbon layers are not only laid, but formed and pressed in a special process under a pressure of 50 bar. This prevents porosity and cracking from the outset. This type of lamination ensures that you are safe even in difficult passages.
In order to save weight despite the high stability, the amount of material used was calculated precisely. For example, the clamping sections for the stem or levers have been reinforced in a defined manner, while carbon layers can be dispensed with in less stressed areas.
This also gives it a certain degree of flexibility and can soften impacts from the ground. In addition, the upsweep and backsweep ensure a relaxed hand position and also increase comfort.
