Among the Zipp wheels, the 303 has always been known for its wide range of applications. With the 303 S, the range of use has now been significantly extended. The profile height of 45 millimeters familiar from the 303 family has been retained. However, with an outer width of 27 millimetres, the rims have a significantly higher inner width of 23 millimetres than the previous versions. This makes the 303 S wheels ideal not only for modern, wide road bike tires, but also for gravel use. The large inner width results in better tire shaping, which reduces rolling resistance and makes the tires more stable at low air pressures and ensures greater riding comfort. The increased width was achieved by hookless tubeless treads, which not only hold the tires securely in place, but also make tubeless mounting easier thanks to their optimized design. The rims are also less susceptible to punctures thanks to the elimination of the sensitive rim flanges.
The rims are aerodynamically optimized for use with 28 millimetre wide road bike tires. Unlike narrower rims, this tire width forms an almost seamless transition to the rims. This means you can benefit from the greater comfort and better rolling characteristics of wide road bike tires without having to compromise on aerodynamic efficiency. The rims are spoked around the established Zipp 76 and 176 Disc Brake hubs with Center Lock brake disc mount.

Zipp grants you a lifetime warranty on your Zipp wheel when used properly. The warranty also covers racing use and damage caused by riding errors, as long as the wheel has been used for its intended purpose. The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and proof of purchase is mandatory!

NOTE: Due to the hookless profile, the Zipp 303 S wheels are only suitable for use with ETRTO-compliant tubeless tires. However, the corresponding tubeless tires can be ridden on the wheels with a tube without any problems. You can find an overview of all compatible tires for your Zipp Hookless wheel here.
