The basis for the Metron TFA Aerobar is the basic handlebar and the Snakebite stem. The stem can be mounted on a 1 1/8" steerer tube and, like the handlebars, allows fully integrated cable routing. The stem itself has a length of 90 mm and therefore offers enough space for your DI2 connections.
At the beginning you will have to ask yourself the question, drop or rise, because the handlebars are rotatable, 25 mm drop or 25 mm rise is the first decision you can make.
On this basis, you can build the trailer completely variably. Start the search for your perfect height at 70 mm and work your way up to your individual height in 5 mm increments up to 145 mm. In combination with the tilt, which can be adjusted from 0° to 16°, you have already found a good basis for an aerodynamic position. The next step is to find the right length for you. You can then use the armrests to individualize the inward rotation, with a range of 0° to 13°. You can vary the distance to suit your shoulder width from 210 mm to 360 mm (outside to outside). This system therefore offers you one of the most comprehensive adjustment options available. If you find that you still need to adjust one or two screws, the design, which has no hidden screws, makes it very simple and uncomplicated.
