To ease the strain of hours of riding, Udog has developed the first cycling shoe specifically designed to take the strain off the foot when pulling up. The shoe optimally encloses your foot and offers a unique combination of lightness, speed and exceptional support that is ideal for both training and racing. The Tension Wrap System creates 18 points of contact between the upper and the foot to optimally enclose the midfoot area from the sole to the instep. This dynamic system enables a more precise and controlled transfer of power to the pedal while providing total comfort throughout the pedaling motion. The sole is made from a high-quality combination of carbon composite and nylon, which makes it particularly stiff, durable and well ventilated. The design of the shoe is deliberately minimalist, with all potentially pressure-inducing plastic and metal parts removed. The complex lace fastening system has allowed Udog to use an upper made from innovative, lightweight, soft and breathable 3D mesh, which further enhances comfort while ensuring a perfect fit.
The name Udog stands for Underdog. Udog was founded in 2021 by Alberto Fonte in Veneto, Italy, out of love for cycling - a region with a long and impressive cycling tradition and an obsession with fashion and style.
