TUFO tire Comtura Aero Tube Type 28" | 700 x 28C black
With the Comtura Prima, Tufo is expanding its range of road tubeless tires with a high-performance model for racing use. The compounders created completely new rubber compounds especially for this tire, which give the Comtura Prima excellent grip, especially in wet conditions. Thanks to special additives, the supple Comtura Prima also plays in the top league when it comes to rolling resistance. Despite its low weight of 220 grams, the tire has good puncture protection thanks to a layer of Vectran fabric.
Although the Comtura Aero is designed as a racing tire, it impresses with its high mileage and excellent puncture protection. Its Vectran Barrier puncture protection layer under the tread not only repels punctures and cuts, but also ensures excellent cornering stability.
SPC Silica Compound
The Silica SPC rubber compound offers a balanced combination of synthetic and natural rubber as well as active silica additives. This composition ensures excellent grip in wet conditions and low rolling resistance.
Vectran Puncture Barrier
This effective puncture protection layer is located directly under the tread. The Vectran fibers used are stronger than steel and have an extremely high cut resistance. In addition to its function as puncture protection, the Vectran barrier also stabilizes the tire when cornering.
