With the Silverton 1.0, Syncros has created an affordable alternative to the Silverton 1.0 S. But it was also developed for the best possible performance and agility on the cross-country race track. The low weight, high stiffness and durable components guarantee you propulsion and durability.
At the center of the wheelset are the reliable DT Swiss 370 hubs. With their high-quality bearings adapted to the area of use and an elaborate seal, a long service life and low maintenance requirements are guaranteed. The high rigidity of the body distributes the forces that occur during braking and acceleration evenly, so that no damage is caused by load peaks. At the rear wheel, a toothed disk freewheel not only ensures extremely direct and reliable power transmission, but also a distinctive sound.
Syncros' own spokes connect the hubs to the rims. Thanks to their blade shape with a slightly flattened center section, they offer excellent aerodynamics and also save weight. The triple crossing generates a very stiff wheel and makes it very robust. In addition, the straight design eliminates the risk of broken spokes because there is no sensitive bend.
The rims are a real eye-catcher. Made from high-quality carbon fibers, they are stable and can withstand hard impacts. This is further enhanced by the reinforced, hookless rim flanges. Of course, they can be ridden without a tube, which ensures a high level of puncture resistance even with low air pressure. The inner width of the rim is very generous. Even wide tires are reliably supported and you always have a direct ride feel.
Overall, Syncros has succeeded in ensuring a low inertia load, which means reducing the weight on the outside as much as possible in order to achieve better acceleration.
