SRAM XX1 Eagle Grip Shift Twister 12-speed right gold
The evolution of SRAM's XX1 groupset is called Eagle. If you look at the details of the groupset, this name makes perfect sense. Whereas with the 11-speed cassette with 10-42 tooth gradation of the XX1 cassette you often had to make compromises and either the fastest or the slowest gear was missing, with the 12-speed XX1 Eagle cassette with its huge gradation of 10-50 teeth you are as free as an eagle in any terrain. With the XX1 Eagle, Sram has managed to combine the advantages of 2x and 1x drivetrains: a gear range of 500%, which is on a par with 2x groupsets, combined with the easier-to-handle and lighter 1x drivetrain.
The XX1 Eagle 12-speed twist shifters are technically at the highest level, visually a treat and haptically beyond any doubt. The triple ball bearings with a total of 120 balls ensure defined shifting precision, in addition to the metal indexing for the gear ratcheting. This also makes shifting operations extremely smooth and guarantees a long service life for the shifter.
Another practical feature is the integrated lock-on grips, which can simply be clicked into the shifter and also come with a lock ring on the outside. This means that the grips sit firmly on the handlebars. If you want to save a few more grams, the Twister can be fitted with any other 100mm long grip.
