SRAM Force 1 Rear Derailleur Gray | Black 11-speed Type 3.0 | medium-length cage
The Force 1 rear derailleur is based on the same technologies as the components of the SRAM 1x 11-speed MTB groups. Thus, the switching operations are accustomed accurate and fast. For model year 2018, the rear derailleur has been equipped with Type 3.0 vibration damping, which ensures even smoother running of the chain.
Roller Bearing Clutch
The unique Roller Bearing Clutch ensures a consistently high chain tension and keeps the chain securely in place even without a chain guide.
Exact Actuation
In order to enable fast and precise shifting, SRAM relies on the already proven 1: 1 ratio of Bowden cable movement to rear derailleur deflection for the MTB groups.
X-HORIZON
Due to the parallelogram design of the rear derailleur all switching movements are limited to the horizontal axle . This reduces the power required to shift and the shifting becomes much more precise. The strong offset of the upper pulley ensures a constant chain distance across all gears.
CAGE LOCK
The Cage Lock technology allows the rear derailleur to be locked in an extended position to simplify the assembly of the rear wheel or chain.
