The T-Type system is precisely matched for perfect function and is not compatible with existing, older Eagle drivetrains.

The Eagle 70 components offer you an affordable entry into the world of SRAM Transmission shifting technology. Thanks to the discreet design language in plain black, it blends in almost perfectly with any bike.
The Eagle 70 Transmission rear derailleur is the basis for the best Bowden cable-operated shifting system currently available on the market. It has been redesigned from the ground up to provide you with precise and crisp shifting even without a battery. And in every situation. The special geometry and the adapted transmission ratio of the Bowden cable, in conjunction with the newly designed Drag-Spring damping, ensure outstanding precision and function even under the most adverse conditions.
The full mount design was adopted from the well-known electronic transmission shifting systems and stands for outstanding stability. Thanks to replaceable parts such as the skid plate, parallelogram links and the cage, you can easily repair it after damage.
NOTE: A frame with UDH interface is absolutely necessary for mounting! The rear derailleur is NOT compatible with existing Eagle drivetrains! An Eagle 70 or Eagle 90 series shifter is required for operation!
