With the SRAM DOT Assembly Grease you always ensure the optimum performance of your brake system. The DOT assembly grease lubricates and protects all moving parts inside your brake lever and brake calliper. It is also suitable for optimum installation of the insert pin and olive. The special grease is also compatible for use with mineral oil-based brake systems.

What is DOT-Grease actually?
SRAM mounting grease for hydraulic disc brakes is a grease used for mounting SRAM hydraulic disc brakes. Although the name might suggest this, SRAM mounting grease for hydraulic disc brakes does not contain any DOT brake fluid. SRAM assembly grease for hydraulic disc brakes is resistant to DOT brake fluid and SRAM mineral oil. The grease does not cause swelling of the brake line or seals. As this grease is only DOT-compatible and does not use DOT, this grease is also compatible with all SRAM mineral oil brakes currently on the market.
The formula for the hydraulic disc brake assembly grease has not changed since it was marketed under the AVID and PitStop brand names. The product still has its orange color and, unlike DOT brake fluid, does not age over time.
