The Burnr winter cycling cap from Spatzwear is made from tried-and-tested, water-repellent Roubaix material that provides optimum protection against the cold and is breathable at the same time. The soft, fluffy inner section provides additional comfort. An elastic band at the back of the head ensures a secure fit and prevents wind from penetrating or slipping under the helmet. The thin material makes it comfortable to wear under the helmet. The flexible peak protects the face and goggles from wind and rain, but can be folded up to maintain visibility in the aero position. The ear flaps with neck protection also offer flexibility: they can be folded down when required and protect against wind without restricting hearing - in warmer temperatures they can simply be folded up. Stylish and functional, the hat is ideal for any winter ride.

Spatzwear is the result of countless cold, wet miles in the Yorkshire Dales and the brainchild of Tom Barras, a professional cyclist. After longing for a solution to cold, wet feet while cycling, he developed the first prototypes at the dinner table in 2006. It wasn't until 2016, after a meeting on an icy bike ride with a triathlete in Yorkshire, that the Spatz prototypes were further developed and became a game changer in terms of overshoe systems and functional clothing.
