SPATZWEAR overshoes Aquasokz long | white

The long Spatzwear Aquasokz were developed in collaboration with the Alpecin-Deceuninck Pro Cycling Team - with a focus on aerodynamics and performance in wet conditions. Made from 100% waterproof, PU-coated Lycra, the Aquasokz are not just about keeping feet dry, but also about getting the rider to the finish line quickly and comfortably in bad weather. The high cut meets the UCI's overshoe length requirements and ensures an elegant silhouette. A wide silicone cuff ensures a secure fit without slipping, while a robust Velcro fastener, discreetly positioned behind the cleat/pedal area, makes it easier to put on and allows for individual adjustment. Kevlar in the toe area protects against damage, while internal silicone grippers prevent them from riding up during the race. Flat, strategically placed seams and a reflective logo round off the aerodynamic, stylish design.

Spatzwear is the result of countless cold, wet miles in the Yorkshire Dales and the brainchild of Tom Barras, a professional cyclist. After longing for a solution to cold, wet feet while cycling, he developed the first prototypes at the dinner table in 2006. It wasn't until 2016, after a meeting on an icy bike ride with a triathlete in Yorkshire, that the Spatz prototypes were further developed and became a game changer in terms of overshoe systems and functional clothing. Spatzwear: You won't feel that you're wearing it. But you'll be glad you are.

Note: Please note that the Aquasokz, as a special product, are less flexible in the ankle area and therefore more difficult to put on. After wearing them several times, the fabric becomes noticeably more supple and the overshoes are easier to put on. It is important that the overshoes are rolled up to the shin BEFORE the cycling shoes are put on.
