The ROX 12.1 EVO comes as a fully-fledged navigation device with an enormous range of functions. The new design looks very modern and sporty. In contrast to the previous model, the housing has been significantly reduced in size. Thanks to the identical display size, the appearance has become very coherent. In addition, the workmanship is excellent and of very high quality, which ensures a long service life.
The clear operation with buttons and touchscreen guarantees intuitive menu navigation and quick access to the most important data. The battery is recharged via a standard USB-C port. With a capacity of 2400 mAh, it provides a runtime of up to 14 hours, which is easily enough for a day trip.
Heart rate, cadence and speed sensors are already included in this set, so you can start training straight away.
Perfect mounting
The two brackets supplied give you complete flexibility when mounting. With the long butler, the ROX 12.1 is positioned aerodynamically in front of the stem and you have everything in view. Alternatively, you can use the GPS holder. This is attached to either the handlebars or the stem using cable ties. Either way, the bike computer sits firmly and securely.
Everything in view
Whether at night or in sunlight, the transflective, 3-inch display is easy to read in any situation. It is very high-contrast and clearly shows even small details thanks to its excellent color reproduction. The display is permanently illuminated and automatically adjusts the brightness to different lighting conditions using an optical sensor. Thanks to the scratch-resistant glass, you will still have a clear view for many years to come.
Endless functions
There is practically nothing that the ROX 12.1 cannot do. GPS navigation, altitude measurement, bike functions, power meter, customizable profiles, connectivity... the list goes on and on. A device that leaves nothing to be desired.
Innovative map navigation
Thanks to the pre-installed maps based on OSM data, real navigation with turn-by-turn directions is possible. You have the option of creating routes directly on the device or planning them on your PC and uploading them via the Sigma Ride app. You can follow tracks and be guided back to the starting point at any time. An interesting feature is the "Draw my Route" function: simply draw a line or a circle on the map and the ROX 12.1 will create a suggested route for you. If this matches your ideas, you can set off immediately.
Of course, navigation is only possible with good satellite reception. In addition to the familiar GPS system, the signals from Glonass and Galileo are also processed. This means that there should always be sufficient data to determine your exact position.
Fully customizable
Every user has their own preferences. That's why the ROX 12.1 can be individually adapted to the information that is important to you. For example, you can select your relevant data fields, assign colors to them and thus maintain an overview.
Furthermore, 6 sport profiles are already stored. Regardless of whether you are out and about on your MTB or road bike, specific data is always displayed. Of course, you can also create your own pages.
Almost unlimited connectivity
Various sensors for measuring speed, cadence and heart rate can be easily connected via ANT+ or Bluetooth BLE. Your smartphone can of course also be paired and can transmit your data live to Strava or Komoot via the Sigma Ride app, for example. You can also receive messages about calls or emails without having to get out your phone.
A USB-C port is also on board for charging the battery and transferring data to your PC.
E-bike ready?Of course!
The ROX 12.1 EVO is e-bike ready and can be paired with many drive systems. It connects to the compatible e-bike system and shows you specific values such as remaining range, battery level or support level. To save battery power and energy, you can even call up shifting recommendations on the display.
Help in an emergency
If you ever have a fall, you can also count on the ROX 12.1. It recognizes the dangerous situation and gives you 30 seconds to confirm your safety. Otherwise, your emergency contacts will be informed by text message via the Sigma Ride app and your current location will be transmitted.
