One of Shimano's most reliable and versatile brakes is also a pioneer in its class in the M7120 version. Its wide range of applications and reliability make it the first choice for many bikers.
Thanks to Servo Wave technology, the brake shines with fast response and a very easy to modulate pressure point. Bleeding is child's play with one-way bleeding, but is usually only necessary when shortening the brake line. The new arrangement of the clamp frees up some space on the handlebars, for example for remote levers, and also significantly increases rigidity.
The ergonomically shaped levers can be easily operated with one or two fingers and the reach can be adjusted without tools.
The SLX brake calliper is the solution to all braking problems. The 4-piston version delivers brute force, but can be controlled very precisely in combination with the BL-M7100 brake lever. The construction is designed for rapid heat dissipation. This can be further supported by the use of ICE-Tech Brake Pads with cooling fins. This means that even longer descents in the high mountains are a safe bet.
Installation is extremely easy thanks to the post mount and maintenance is no witchcraft with the aforementioned one-way bleeding system.
