The Shimano S-Phyre Super Light glasses impress with their slim, frameless design, which is particularly suitable for narrower face shapes thanks to their super-light construction. The one-piece lens is ultrasonically welded and offers a clear, wide and distortion-free field of vision, while the shortened temples ensure a perfect fit under a wide variety of helmets. A rotatable nose pad with different front and back thicknesses allows for individual adjustment, so that the goggles offer maximum comfort even on long rides. The frame uses Rilsan® Clear G850 Rnew® made from bio-based polyamide, which reduces the consumption of fossil raw materials, complemented by non-toxic temple tips made from TPE using a double injection molding process. The extremely lightweight and impact-resistant polyamide lens provides excellent optical clarity, full UV400 protection and protects the entire eye area. Thanks to its oleophobic coating, it reliably repels water and prevents annoying fingerprints, while the scratch-resistant surface offers three times the resistance of conventional coatings. The glasses are supplied in robust, environmentally friendly paper packaging, which also serves as a practical hard case, complemented by a soft protective bag made from recycled rPET.
Hydrophobic coating
The surface of the lenses has been specially treated to make them water-repellent and dirt-resistant. Liquids roll off and the lenses stay cleaner.
Rilsan® Clear G850 Rnew®
Rilsan® Clear G850 Rnew® frames made of bio-based polyamide use less petroleum and thus protect the environment.
RIDESCAPE OR (Off-Road)
Lenses optimized for off-road use reduce the glare caused by the sun when riding in and out of the shade and sharpen visual awareness in order to be able to react more quickly to various trail surfaces (stones, earth, sand) and typical obstacles (roots, tree stumps, crevices).
