Shimano's Dura Ace rims are made entirely of carbon, so it's not just the look on the scales that will make your heart beat faster - you'll immediately convert your energy into propulsion during fast acceleration. Nothing is wasted. Despite their low flank height, the special shape reduces air resistance and ensures good aerodynamics. The enormous inner width of 21 mm also gives large-volume tires their optimum shape, filtering impacts from the ground better and providing more grip. This rim was developed for the front wheel. In contrast to its rear sister, the spoke hole angles are specifically designed.
The perfect finish is typical of Shimano. An even carbon structure, cleanly laminated spoke mounts and the impact-resistant surface are evidence of the Japanese company's high level of manufacturing skill. Of course, you can also convert to tubeless systems and thus benefit from additional puncture protection and more riding comfort.
