The Addict RC Team HMX frame comes in a modern design for the current model year. It still has a number of features that make it an absolute race weapon. There are the HMX carbon fibers, the aerodynamic shape and the stiff fork.

The HMX carbon fibers are the main contributor to the low weight and yet high stiffness. These are produced exclusively for Scott and come very close to the ideal balance between weight, stiffness and comfort. In addition, fibers impregnated with nano-resin are used in particularly stressed and critical areas. This ensures undisturbed propulsion and better protects your frame from serious damage in the event of a fall.
The innovative PP-Mandrel manufacturing process developed by Scott makes it possible to design the transitions between individual tubes in such a way that additional reinforcements or filling material are unnecessary. This further reduces the weight, but still increases stability. In addition, precise shaping of the contact zones is achieved, which creates a filigree and elegant look.

The aerodynamics have also been improved - after all, you don't just ride uphill. The streamlined shape starts with the fork and continues right through to the aero seatpost. Nothing should be unnecessarily exposed to the wind and impair your propulsion. The brakes are mounted close to the frame to prevent unnecessary turbulence. The spacers on the headset allow the air to glide past undisturbed and the seatpost clamp is integrated almost invisibly. Everything looks well thought out.

The clean look is achieved by the ICR (internal cable routing), where all cables and lines run through the frame. Every conceivable constellation has been considered. The cables are neatly routed through inserts in the frame, where they are well protected from dirt and rain.

The set already includes a Scott Addict fork, a Syncros SP-R101-CF carbon seatpost and an integrated headset. Everything has been perfectly adapted to the frame and results in a uniform appearance that is guaranteed to make you the envy of your friends.
