Description
ROTOR power meter set | PowerPack MTB 2INpower 1-way Q-Ring | oval
The Rotor PowerPacks offer you an inexpensive way to equip your bike with a power meter.
Thanks to the measurement technology integrated in the crankshaft, there are no visible sensors that interfere with the optics of the wheel. The weight of the system is also minimal. The 2INpower including the Q-ring with 30 teeth only weighs 695 grams. This is made possible by the Rotors Trinity Drilling System, milled crank arms made of ultra-light aluminum 7055. The large outer diameter of the crank arms ensures the necessary rigidity. The system is powered by a long-lasting Li-Ion battery, which can be easily charged using a standard USB cable. This means that the battery can easily be supplied with energy again after a running time of approx. 250 hours. The data is transmitted using the universal ANT + protocol or via Bluetooth.
The great added value of the 2INpower system compared to other power meters is the double-sided power measurement using four additional strain gauges in the right crank arm. In this way, a very detailed measurement and kick analysis of both legs can be carried out and possible weaknesses analyzed in detail. With the help of the extensive and free software package from ROTOR, analysis becomes child's play.
Another highlight of the system is the TORQUE 360 evaluation option. With the help of Rotor's in-house software, it can be used to analyze the torque curve during one pedal revolution. In this way, weaknesses between the left and right leg or an out of round step can be identified. This measurement technology is particularly valuable for riders who use Rotor's oval Q-ring chainrings. Using the OCA (optimized-chainring-angle) system, the software can determine the optimal position of the Q-rings via the torque curve. In this way, the driver can apply his power to the pedal even more effectively. With the proven 30 millimeter UBB crankshaft, the system in conjunction with Rotors UBB bottom bracket is compatible with all common bearing standards (except BB90 / 95).
Direct mount chainring | oval
The matching oval direct mount chainring for the Rotor 2INpower crank. For a coherent overall picture, Rotor has optically adapted the chainrings to the martial design of the cranks . The chainrings have specially shaped teeth that prevent the chain from jumping off. In conjunction with a Sram Type2 or Shimano Shadow + rear derailleur, which have a greatly increased cage preload, the chain is reliably held in position even without a chain guide. Due to the fine screening of the direct mount mount in combination with different positions between the crankshaft and the crank arms, the OCP steps can be set (optimum chain ring position) of the Q ring in 1 degree.
