Redshift Sports was founded in 2013 by engineers who were also passionate cyclists. Right from the start, they were keen to think outside the box and develop innovative bike parts that help you ride comfortably and efficiently on long distances. All Redshift products are designed, tested and hand-finished in the company's own warehouse in Philadelphia.

With its tight setup and a weight reduction of 130 grams compared to the standard version, the patented ShockStop Pro Race Suspension seatpost is the perfect choice for gravel and road racing.With its effective suspension travel of up to 20 millimetres, it reduces vibrations and bumps caused by uneven road surfaces, helping you to ride long distances with less fatigue. Thanks to the optimized parallelogram design, the ShockStop support offers very sensitive suspension response. For a more progressive spring rate, the Pro-Endurance version uses two coil springs and an elastomer inside the post. The damping can be adjusted to the rider's weight by replacing the elastomer. Redshift recommends removing the inner coil spring for very light riders under 61 kilograms. The seatpost is made from 6061 aluminium and is approved for a system weight (rider including clothing) of up to 110 kilograms and can be used for everything from road bikes to light MTB use.
