Bergakungen, swedish for mountain king, is a mythical creature from Nordic mythology who lives high up in the mountains and rules over metals and ores. Inspired by Nordic folklore, RadoxX Components worked with Dangerholm to develop a chainring with clear aesthetics and special coating. The innovative company, based in Rimsting, a small town between Munich and the Bavarian Alps, manufactures exquisite components with great dedication and state-of-the-art CNC technology. The products are always trimmed for lightness and functionality and offer perfection down to the smallest detail.
The coating of the chainring consists of polymers that oxidize in combination with oxygen when they are applied to the surface and hardened. The manufacturing process thus forms a durable layer that effectively protects against corrosion, abrasion and wear. The finish also improves the gliding properties of the surface and ensures that the chain runs smoothly. Experience maximum precision and smooth performance on every kilometer.
