The Race Face Vault hubs not only stand out for their beefy appearance, they also impress with their inner values. With 120 locking points per wheel revolution, the Vault hubs are among the finest-toothed hubs on the market. This allows an extremely direct start. Especially on technically demanding uphill passages, this can make the difference between pushing and driving. The fine toothing is achieved via a pawl freewheel with six double-toothed pawls and a toothed disc with 60 snap-in points, into which three pawls engage at the same time. Low resistance of the mechanism is ensured by the low resistance of the pawl springs.

The oversized hub shell offers extreme rigidity for building rugged and durable wheels. In addition, it houses four 6902 industrial bearings, which have a very high durability with their large balls. This is additionally ensured by the large distance between the bearing seats, which reduces the forces acting on the bearings. A high degree of protection against adverse external conditions is ensured by the smooth running labyrinth rubber seals. For simple conversion of the hubs to other axle type standards, the end caps of the Vault hubs can be exchanged without tools.

With the five available bright anodized colors you can choose the Vault hub to match the design of your bike.
