DT Swiss 240 EXP hubs
Lighter, stiffer, more precise and easier to maintain - these are the strengths of the new DT Swiss 240 hubs. These properties have been achieved thanks to the Ratchet EXP technology. This not only means that the hubs have fewer components and therefore lower weight and less wear, it also allows the bearing to be positioned much further out on the drive side. The greater distance between the bearings results in greater hub rigidity, lower bearing loads and therefore greater durability. The stiffness on the hub body serves to distribute the load more evenly on the spokes. Drive and braking forces are transmitted even better from both spoke flanges to all spokes. One-sided load peaks are prevented, which protects the hub, spokes and rim. The super reliable toothed pulley freehub system with its large contact surface and 36 engagement points ensures extremely direct and reliable power transmission.
Duke Baccara 36C SLR2 Ultra rims
Duke has pushed the limits with this rim. A sensational 295 g on the scales with a rim height of 36 mm is unrivaled. Nevertheless, safety has not been spared, as it is approved for a system weight of 95 kg.
Based on the already very light SLR2 rims, the French succeeded in reducing the weight by more than 10%. Material was only saved in non-critical areas. The durability and stability are convincing. Together with the high profile, this guarantees you a stiff wheel and excellent aerodynamics. Nevertheless, comfort is not neglected. The special arrangement of the carbon layers is able to soften the peaks of impacts from the ground. This prevents premature signs of fatigue in the arms and hands.
The unique finish is achieved using SLR2 manufacturing technology. No reworking or painting is necessary after the manufacturing process and the special look is retained.
The rims have an asymmetrical rim profile, which enables a more even spoke angle. This optimization of the spoke angle has a number of advantages. The spoke tension on both sides can be better aligned, which is beneficial to the durability of the spokes and the wheel as a whole. The normally direction-dependent lateral stiffness is also adjusted, making the wheel stiffer in itself.

With the CX-Ray, Sapim has succeeded in developing an exceptional spoke. In addition to its low weight, it has an exceptional load capacity and flexibility. This also results in a wide range of applications. Whether road cyclists or mountain bikers, everyone benefits from these positive characteristics. In addition, the flattened middle section ensures excellent aerodynamics. The high material quality enables the construction of stable wheels and guarantees a long service life.

Our wheels are assembled entirely by hand by our wheel builders. During the entire assembly process, great importance is attached to ensuring that not only the concentricity is correct, but also that the spoke tension is as even as possible. This special care allows us to offer a lifetime guarantee against spoke breakage, as long as it has not been caused by force.

Note: The wheelset is supplied with a Shimano freehub body from stock. A Sram XDR freehub body is included in the scope of delivery. This can be exchanged by simple conversion without tools.
