The SmarTube RS is Pirelli's latest innovation in the world of inner tubes.
With a further 1.5 watt saving compared to the standard model, your setup is at tubeless level.
It was developed to meet the lightness and handling requirements of professional World Tour riders. The standard butyl inner tube has been replaced by TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), an advanced plastic material characterized by elasticity and mechanical strength. The result is a hose that can be up to 70 % lighter, up to 50 % more compact and more puncture-resistant than an equivalent hose made of butyl.

The P ZERO™ SmarTUBE RS is the ultimate evolution for cyclists who still use the standard clincher setup and want to improve the performance of their bikes, as well as for those looking for a lightweight and compact replacement inner tube for tubeless tires.
