Newmen's Advanced wheels perform at the highest level in every application and are the perfect chassis for ambitious gravel bikers. With them, you can race full speed over gravel tracks, but also tackle trails or longer uphills. They combine top technology, low weight and first-class handling with a really fair price-performance ratio.
Advanced Gravel Carbon rim
The Advanced G.34 Gravel rim is the ideal basis for this wheel. It is made exclusively from high-quality UD carbon fibers and thus achieves the optimum compromise between stiffness and comfort. The enormous inner width allows the mounting of tires up to 50 mm wide, which, in combination with the slightly outwardly protruding sidewall, gives them a rounder shape and noticeably increases grip. In addition, the air pressure can be lowered and small impacts can be better absorbed by the ground. To prevent damage, Newmen has opted for a hookless tread. This has been significantly reinforced. In addition, tubeless compatibility has been increased so that you can take full advantage of this system.
Thought has also been given to the external appearance. The rim can be ridden with the retractable Streem valve, which creates a clean look and improves aerodynamics. In addition, only a wafer-thin layer of clear lacquer was applied after the production process to leave the carbon structure visible.
Fade R hub
At the center are Newmen's own Fade R hubs, which are equipped with high-quality, double-sealed industrial bearings for durability under all conditions. In contrast to the tried and tested FADE Road hubs, this version has been reinforced on the inside. This means that any forces that occur can be better compensated and it is even approved for use on e-road bikes. The combination of J-bend and straight-pull spoking is striking. This has made it possible to reduce the number of spokes while maintaining the same stiffness. This saves weight and improves aerodynamics. The 36-toothed pawl freewheel ensures deceleration-free acceleration. Furthermore, Newmen uses a special grease which has a 25% higher water absorption capacity and a very high bleeding temperature and protects the bearings from premature wear and corrosion.
Sapim Race spokes
By far the most popular spoke in the Sapim range is the indestructible Race. Despite its still low weight, it can be used to build the most stable wheels. The elastic middle section easily copes with high load peaks. In addition, the elimination of the highly stressed spoke bend eliminates a potential breaking point and thus further minimizes the susceptibility to punctures. A real all-rounder with which you can set off on any adventure.
