MICHE wheelset 29" K1 RD Center Lock 15x 110 mm | 12x148 mm BOOST

Tested on the most technically demanding World Cup courses and developed in close collaboration with the athletes of the Wilier-Vittoria MTB Factory Team, this wheel was the choice of Simone Avondetto when he won the 2024 European XC Championship. Compared to the previous K1-EVO model, the K1 RD offers 20% more stiffness, which is particularly noticeable in fast corners and technical passages thanks to more precise control and more direct handling. In addition, the impact resistance has been increased by 15 % for greater resistance to rough terrain and sudden load peaks without compromising the structural integrity of the wheel. Despite the numerous improvements, it has been possible to reduce the total weight of the wheelset to just 1345 grams.
The lightweight carbon rims of the K1 RD have been designed for maximum performance, with an inner width of 30 millimeters, they increase the tire contact area and give you the opportunity to ride with extremely low air pressures without the risk of spongy or even bouncing tires. Lower pressure means that the tire can adapt better to obstacles, resulting in less rolling resistance and less fatigue for the rider.
The use of CeramicSpeed Coated Oversized bearings ensures silky smooth running and durability. The special coating reduces wear to a minimum, even under extreme conditions.
