MICHE wheelset 28" Kleos RD 50 | Team Edition

The Kleos RD 50 was developed to handle any racing situation with confidence. 50 millimeter high rims are made from high-quality Toray T1000 and T700 carbon fibres and have an inner rim width of 21 millimeters. The rim profile is compatible with all standard tubeless and clincher tires and guarantees maximum safety and reliability. A precisely coordinated lamination of fibers with a high and medium modulus of elasticity, combined with a sophisticated aerodynamic rim profile, ensures a perfectly balanced structure with outstanding stiffness and immediate response. As a result, the rim weight has been reduced and the moment of inertia minimized, achieving a total weight of just 1500 grams.
The hubs made of 7075 T6 aluminum rely on Miche's proven RR-C (Racing Replica Ceramic) technology. In collaboration with CeramicSpeed, double-sealed ceramic bearings have been developed in which every detail has been optimized for silky smooth running and a long service life. The adjustment rings on the front and rear wheels enable precise fine adjustment of the bearings if necessary. Another feature of the front hub is the aero blade cover on the left hub flange for reduced drag.
The wheels are built with double-butted stainless steel spokes in a 16:8 spoke pattern. A special feature is the different, aero-optimized spoke cross-sections for the front and rear wheels, which have been developed through wind tunnel tests.
To ensure the highest possible manufacturing quality, the Kleos RD 50 wheels are designed and manufactured entirely at the Miche factory in San Vendemiano.
